It's a great suntrap. A handy garage is also available for storing bikes/outdoor equipment.

Keswick town centre is a 10-minute walk away. With a great choice of outdoor and independent shops, why not indulge in a spot of retail therapy? There are walks a-plenty straight from the front door and there's something for all abilities. Fans of Alfred Wainwright can follow in his footsteps up fells such as Skiddaw, Walla Crag and Catbells. If a leisurely stroll is more your thing, head down to Derwentwater and enjoy a peaceful walk along the lakeshore. All that exercise is sure to work up an appetite! If you fancy having someone else do the cooking for a change, head to one of the cosy pubs for a hearty meal; there's also Italian, Chinese and Thai restaurants to choose from, as well as some fine dining options for a real treat.

Head west from Keswick for a day at the seaside. The beautiful Solway Coast is wonderful for a bracing stroll - not to mention ice cream and fish and chips! Or take a scenic drive and wind your way through stunning countryside as you head the The South Lakes. Stop off at pretty Grasmere to stock up on the village's famous gingerbread, onwards into Ambleside where there are plenty of shops and cafes to keep you occupied, whilst bustling Bowness is home to The World of Beatrix Potter attraction, a must for fans of any age. With so much to see and do, a week just won't be enough at this property.

Set down off the pavement, 11 steps lead down from road level to the bungalow and there are then two steps up to the front door. Once inside, all of the accommodation is laid out on the ground floor. Light, bright and airy, you'll feel instantly at home in the property. The porch is a handy storage place for boots and coats and leads through to the warm hallway. The living room is a wonderfully welcoming room, just perfect for unwinding after a day out exploring. Catch up on some TV or grab a good book and simply enjoy a few moments peace. There is a sofa and two arm chairs here, as well as a dining table for two.

The modern kitchen is well equipped, with a fantastic picture window to really make the most of the view - you'll be fighting over who gets to do the cooking or washing up and not the other way around! It is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge (with ice compartment), and a washer/dryer.

Head a little further along the hallway to find the bedroom and bathroom. The lovely double bedroom is Again decorated in calming neutral shades, and with plenty of storage and hanging space. Treat yourself to a long lie in and a relaxing morning cuppa in bed whilst you plan your day's activities. The modern bathroom has a shower over the bath (as well as the requisite WC and wash basin), perfect for an indulgent soak or an invigorating shower.

At the rear of the bungalow is a delightful garden on several levels - there's a patio and garden furniture at the top with further seating on the lower patio further below down 15 steps. With stunning views towards some of Keswick's best known fells: Skiddaw, Catbells, Causey Pike, Seat How to name but a few. You're sure to feel inspired by this breathtaking panorama. Over the road from the property is a garage. Available to store bikes in, why not bring yours with you and spend a few days exploring on two-wheels? There is plenty of parking on the road by the property, or you have your own parking space in front of the garage.

Spent a lovely week at the property. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean and in a good position with just a 10minute walk into Keswick.

Further guests should be informed of the building work next door, which has been going on for the last 18 months, and I spoke to the young couple who own the property. They told me there's still a good 18 months before finished. The inside of the property is lovely and spacious. Beautiful views from the kitchen and bedroom .10 mins walk to the centRead morere. An absolutely fabulous location in the heart of Keswick. A lovely bungalow with some absolutely stunning views from the rear of the surrounding landscape. We felt at home immediately and its only a 15min walk into town which was absolutely perfect. A real find. Seat How was just perfect for us and we hope to return. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped and with everything in working order. Our own parking space just opposite was most welcome and we never used the car during our visit. The bus stop was a short walk away and services went to Penrith, Grasmere, Ambleside, WindermeRead morere etc. The walk into town was shorter than we thought using the estate footpaths and Keswick market as good as ever Thank you for a great holiday. With great views but only a short walk from the town centre, the location is excellent. A very comfortable cottage which was also spotlessly clean. Good walks from the door.

The cottage has a great location with good views over Keswick. It has good off road and on road parking. The town centre is a 15 minute walk away. The external porch is very useful for walking gear. The cottage itself was a bit smaller than we expected but it was clean well appointed.

This bungalow enjoys a wonderful position: great views and yet so convenient to the town centre. We were there in a very busy week at the end of October, but the location was very quiet. We particularly appreciated the off road parking and the garage to keep our bikes secure. The handy conservatory porch was a boon for outdoor clothing and boots. TRead morehe heating was good and quick to warm up. Lovely terrace outside to enjoy that view, if you get the weather. A bright and nicely fitted out place. Hide
