When you are ready for some sleep, choose from one of two en-suite bedrooms. Outside the property, you have access to the estate’s spectacular gardens to explore. Jump on the boats that head up and down the lake, and stop off at Ambleside (6.5 miles) for a great range of shops, restaurants and pubs. Visit Bowness-on-Windermere (11 miles) for the enchanting attraction, The World of Beatrix Potter. If you prefer to walk or hike, climb The Old Man of Coniston (6 miles) or England’s tallest mountain, Scafell Pike (10 miles).
