A sweeping driveway leads to the property, with the accommodation located on the first floor of a magnificent country house. The apartment features a stylishly decorated and tastefully furnished open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which makes a warm and refreshing living space. The lounge is perfect for snuggling up to chat about the day or watch a movie, and has plenty of seating, TV/DVD and a window seat with glorious views of Esthwaite Water. There’s a lovely dining area and the country-style kitchen has a wide range of equipment. The apartment also features two delightful en-suite bedrooms, each overlooking the lake: you can choose between the spacious super-king-size room and the charming twin room which has a small balcony with seating, perfect for taking in the views with a glass of wine in the evening. We love coming Broomriggs, the flat is perfect. The views spectacular, close enough to all the places we want to visit but far enough away that you can imagine it's just yours. The flat is well equipped, very clean and comfy for a week away from it all. We plan on returning every year forever!!!

Fabulous holiday! We loved it. The apartment is slightly dated, but warm, comfortable and lovely to come back to after days out. Lots of utensils....everything we needed and the views of the lake and beyond were gorgeous.

We had a wonderful time at Broomriggs 7. We felt at home within minutes of our arrival. The views from all rooms were outstanding and we were v impressed by the quality of kitchen appliances, crockery and cutlery. Pots and pans were of super quality. A lovely flat, being on the first floor has wonderful views over the grounds and Esthwaite. The boys were well supervised on the little balcony and loved having their supper there. Well equipped and comfortable. A perfect weeks stay in glorious summer weather.

The apartment is in a stunning location with beautiful views. The window seat in the lounge makes for a perfect spot to sit. It is equipped with all you could need and is warm and comfortable. Absolutely fabulous place with breathtaking views, we came here to relax and we definitely did, sitting in the window seat reading Wordsworth and watching the wildlife. Alec the caretaker looked after us when we needed help and gave us some guidance on the local walks etc. perfect holiday

Broomriggs 7 is in a wonderful position overlooking Esthwaite water, the views change with the weather and are always amazing . The apartment was very comfortable and we enjoyed our week there.
