Downstairs, a spacious kitchen/diner is perfect for feeding hungry mouths, with a second dining room next door offering a more formal space for sit-down dinners. When it’s time to turn in, four bedrooms are spread across two floors - a super-king on the ground floor and three zip-and-link super-king bedrooms upstairs. Just 2.5 miles away, the neighbouring village of Cartmel awaits, home to a renowned racecourse and a tempting array of foodie-approved restaurants, including some with Michelin Stars. While the Lake District National Park is sure to impress with its lakes, fells, and stunning walking routes, we especially recommend visiting Fell Foot and the shores of Lake Windermere – just 8 miles from your door.

Fantastic holiday home, everything supplied that you could think of. Right on the edge of the woods so great access for walking the dogs. Hot tub lovely during the day or evening. Town only a short drive or walk whatever you prefer. Had a lovely time with family.

Loved everything about this property. All the bedrooms had decent sized comfy beds. Bathrooms very well equipped. The hot tub was large and clean. Lovely quiet location, but only 10 mins walk into town. Forest walks on door step. Great 4 night stay with friends.

Lovely birthday weekend property Lovely and had everything you would need if you wanted to cook. Beautiful dining room which we didn't use. Very comfortable beds great shower nice area

This is an outstanding house, well furnished and equipped with everything you need. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are spacious, with many details of interest within the property. The hot tub was very welcome after walking in the area. Plenty of shops, cafes and interesting places to visit in close proximity. We cab certainly recommend WoodhRead moreaven and hope we might return here sometime in the future. Hide
