We really enjoyed our week at the Bolthole. Our party consisted of two adults and two adult-sized teenagers and there was plenty of space for all of us, with everyone having a decent-sized, comfortable room. We enjoyed the quirky nature of the property, with its high ceiling and internal balcony. It took us a while to find it as the entranceRead more is tucked away, but it is in a very handy central location, ideal for exploring Windermere. We were also able to walk to Bowness on Windermere in about 30 minutes. What with better weather than we could ever have expected, it was a great holiday all round. Hide

Great accommodation. Plenty of space for everyone. The quirky layout adds to the appeal. The accommodation is bright and welcoming with a well equipped kitchen for dining in. Plus there are lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby too. Parking can be tricky as Windermere is a popular destination. We thoroughly enjoyed our break.
