Sink back into the soft seating, with the wood burner blazing on colder days. Play games or watch the Smart TV together on those evenings you decide to stay in. Grab a chilled bottle of wine from the cooler in the kitchen, then perch at the breakfast bar, chatting to the chef of your party. The large table is the perfect place to congregate for your holiday feasts. There is also a handy utility room close to the kitchen. When day turns to night, make your way through to one of the two king-size bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room, and one with a cot for little ones under the age of two. There is also a twin bedroom and a bunk room/playroom that the children in your group will adore. Treat yourself to a hydro shower or spa bath in the family bathroom to help you truly relax. Unwind out on the deck as well, taking in the views out over Grizedale and towards the mountains.
Take a cruise or hire boats out on Derwentwater from the marina 0.5 miles away. Head into Keswick to shop, dine out and enjoy a play at the Theatre by the Lake. Follow the 10-mile path around Derwentwater on foot.
