Spacious accommodation, plenty of room for 7 adults, 1 baby and 1 dog. There was always plenty of hot water, heating was easy to turn up / down for comfort. Adequately equipped to cook a decent meal. Beds were comfortable. Nice quiet area, we had 4 cars and didnt have a problem parking close by. Only a five minute walk into Windemere and about fifRead moreteen mins to Bowness. Overall Hide

Wonderful location, a large old house with good sized rooms but needs some attention to detail on social facilities and comfort as some rooms having no or little heating.

A large and spacious house, well located and comfortable. There are a few bits that could be improved (sharp knives in the kitchen, coat hangers etc.) but would recommend to people who need a big house for a large party of people.

Lovely property and very well presented and looked after. We had a lovely stay. Note there is only one parking space at the rear as no room for neighbours car. But heaps of on road parking. Easy instructions and entry...many thanks Simon

Excellent cottage to stay in, it was in a great location and central to every where. We had a wonderful time touring around the Lake District and it was lovely to come back to Windermere where there are very good bars and restaurants, especially the Tapas Bar and the crafty Baa.

The house offered excellent accommodation in terms of comfort and decor, the added bonus of an en suite shower room in 3 out of the 4 bedrooms was excellent. We really enjoyed the open plan aspect of the kitchen and dining room and spent our evenings in there. The location itself is brilliant and we parked the car up Friday afternoon and never usedRead more it until we went home as perfectly located between Windermere and Bowness on foot. We would stay again - group of ladies in our late 40s and 50s Hide
