Sink into the bubbling wooden hot tub after a day of exploring the serene lakes, mountain trails and waterfalls of the Lake District National Park. Up to six guests can stay in this stylish cottage with an open-plan living space containing a wood burner, plus a lovely spacious garden.

Enter the property and step into the bright and airy, neutral-toned lounge/diner with stylish furnishings. Tasteful nature-themed decor surrounds the wooden dining table with six chairs. Adjacent are two plump sofas and an armchair facing the eye-catching exposed brick fireplace with a wood burner and a Smart TV. Continue into the sleek open-plan kitchen/living area with glass bi-folding doors to the hot tub on the patio. The enchanting farmhouse-style fitted kitchen has plenty of space for cooking hearty meals for your loved ones. On the kitchen peninsula is a breakfast bar with two stalls. Next to the kitchen, there’s an additional seating area with Scandi-style armchairs and a sofa. Also on the ground floor is a utility room. Climb the stairs to reach a family shower room with a walk-in shower plus three bedrooms – a super-king-size zip-and-link, an en-suite king-size and a double. Outside is an enclosed garden with a gravelled area containing a BBQ, furniture and a wood-fired hot tub. There is also a lawned area and private parking for three cars. Bring your hiking books to explore the north of the Lake District National Park. During your stay near the settlement of Isel (0.5 miles), you’ll be surrounded by countryside walking trails from your doorstep. Spend a day meeting the animals at the Lake District Wildlife Park (5 miles) or wander around the Bassenthwaite Lake National Nature Reserve (5 miles). Visit Keswick (12 miles) and walk around Skiddaw Mountain (10 miles).
