Enjoy direct access to the lake via the private wooden jetty and boathouse, or relax on your private balcony listening to the water lapping beneath.

This sleek and stylish boathouse has been designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. Neutral hues reflecting the natural landscape are enhanced by a subtle nautical theme in the decor. An open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner forms the heart of this property, with a glass wall of windows and doors showcasing the view and leading to the balcony. The sleek, contemporary kitchen has everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals, including a wine cooler and a coffee machine. There’s a family dining table along with a spacious lounge area warmed by a wood burner, arranged so you can watch TV or gaze outside. Outside, the property benefits from a private, glass-fronted balcony overlooking the lake, a private jetty and boathouse, along with parking for two cars.

There’s plenty to do without needing to jump in your car. Launch your own boat or bring a paddleboard, canoe, kayak or inflatable to explore the lake. Superb location on the tranquil banks of Lake Windermere, we enjoyed the calm and peacefulness. Boathouse is decorated to a high quality level of comfort and we found the onsite staff very welcoming and helpful. Just be prepared to go off the grid as WiFi did not work at all for us and only 1 bar of phone signal whilst on the balcony.

The stay was beautiful, the location and the boathouse were just as described. We stayed for a special birthday and the house keeper kindly decorated with balloons and banners for me. We will be staying again for sure and would highly recommend. Although it was March we sat out on the balcony every day evening having dinner out there. The views of Read morethe lake every day changed and it was just amazing. Hide
