Just 2 miles away is the village of Barbon, where there’s a country pub and a local shop. Venture 6 miles to the historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale and stroll through its charming streets, exploring an enticing selection of shops and places to eat – this is a foodie’s paradise. Sedbergh, 7 miles, known as the town where the Lakes meets the Dales, is a charming destination for a day out, with bookshops to browse and a wide variety of shops, cafes, pubs and bistros.
