A dog-friendly pod set in by gorgeous countryside only 4 miles from Keswick, one of the many thriving market towns in the Lake District National Park. Featuring an open-plan living area, a hot tub and easy access to the likes of Blencathra and Derwent Water, it is an ideal base for an active couple seeking a romantic, rural getaway surrounded by an array of cultural, historical and natural attractions.
The pod is located on a working sheep farm surrounded by picturesque fells and sweeping valleys. Neighboured by others of a similar size and character, the deceptively large pod has a domed wood interior which bathes in natural light from a skylight and large French doors. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a comfortable space with plenty of room for guests on two and four paws. The sofa faces a Smart TV, the kitchen has everything experimental foodies could wish for, while the double bed in the far corner enjoys absorbing fell views. A shower room is at its side. The pod is separated from its neighbours by a dry-stone wall and plantings; guests have access to a private decked area and a patio with seating at the front and a hot tub to the side. Private parking for one car is also available.
The pod''s location in the northern Lake District National Park is perfect for exploring the many Wainwrights that surround Bassenthwaite Lake, Ullswater and Derwent Water, all of which are within an 11-mile radius. The picturesque village of Threlkeld, just 1 mile away, has pubs and shops, a golf course and even a cricket club. Keswick (4 miles) is a vibrant market town popular with foodies, history and art lovers, as well as people with a passion for the great outdoors.
