Take your four-legged friends away with you to this stylish ground floor apartment, one of a group of tasteful cottages siting in gorgeous countryside just 14 miles from Scotland. Perfect for families or couples, enjoy scenic walks along the coast and in the countryside, and visit the fascinating historical sites and towns nearby, then come back and relax on your private patio with a glass of something.

The barn conversion has been tastefully furnished and finished to complement its traditional features, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Go in through the front door into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where the large windows provide lots of light and scenic views. Spend relaxing evenings watching Netflix on the Smart TV and take turns cooking tasty meals to savour around the dining table together. At the end of a fun night, head to bed in the two inviting bedrooms, a double bedroom, and a cosy bunkroom, both with Smart TVs for in-bed viewing. Completing the inside is a family bathroom where you can indulge in a long bubble bath or grab a quick shower. On warm evenings, sit outside in the patio area as the sun goes down, enjoy al fresco drinks, and make use of the utility area and bike storage nearby.

Pop over the border to Scotland to visit the famous village of Gretna Green (14 miles) and the historical city of Carlisle. Go for walks along Hadrian’s Wall, a fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site (11.5 miles). You’ll also find pretty walks on the long, sandy beaches of the Solway Coast (21 miles), or explore nearby Gelt Woods (7.5 miles). Head into Brampton (5 miles) to visit the shops, have a drink or meal out at one of the local pubs, and visit Walby Farm Park (4 miles) for a fun day out.
