A luxurious and tech-smart holiday villa set on the shores of Lake Windermere, this holiday home is ideal for a group of six tech-savvy and adventurous friends. Complete with a cinema and entertainment room, and three en-suite bathrooms with air spa baths, this delightful home is the perfect spot to retreat to after exploring the Lake District.

Head into the spacious hallway where you can access the sumptuous living room which has plush sofas, a digital-effect wood burner, mood lighting and a large TV. A stylish and contemporary kitchen has everything you need to rustle up tasty meals, as well as a sociable space for entertaining and relaxing. A separate dining room has a table with seating for all guests, and a conservatory is great for getting stuck into a good book. Down the stairs from the hallway is a cinema room with a 108-inch cinema screen, and a PlayStation 5. Upstairs on the first floor are two opulent bedrooms with super-king-size beds, and on the second floor is a further double bedroom. Each of the bedrooms is controlled by an iPad that manages the lighting and connectivity, as well as en-suite bathrooms with air spa baths and separate showers. The large garden outside has a BBQ area and a couple of lawns where you can enjoy soaking up the sun or taking a dip in the six-seater hot tub.

Set within its own grounds, you can enjoy some peace and quiet at this lovely home, while still being very close to all the action. Windermere Marina is just 200 metres away, where you can hire a chartered yacht, and the village of Bowness-on-Windermere (1 mile) has plenty of eateries and bars. Enjoy some water sports on the lake such as paddleboarding and canoeing, or take a walk along the trails alongside it.

Not a luxury property, not clean in places with cobwebs and dirt particularly at floor level. Heating and hot water were rationed and operated remotely. Nice cinema room but iPad to operate it was not working. Limited hot water meant that spa baths could not be used, overall not value for money and would not recommend

The property and location are fantastic! Its a short walk in to Bowness itself. Its over the road from the marina village. The house, and its decor are fabulous. Really good quality bedding. Super comfy beds! The cinema room is exceptional, the whirlpool baths and hot tub set this apart from other houses to stay in. There are a few nigglesRead more with this, few things broken, lights and settings that didnt work, and electric blind in the living room wasnt working. Also take your own hand soaps as not all bathrooms had them. If these things were fixed it would definitely be the best house weve ever stayed in. But the attention to detail needs addressing, and sadly this drops it from a 5 star house to a 4 star for us. Definitely with the visit, especially for couples, older families, or rainy days! This is perfect! I would recommend this house if everything as stated once owners was fixed. Hide

Lovely place , high end feel, great location. Others mentioned cobwebs which we noticed too but this really didnt affect the overall experience of staying in the property for a week, great location too. We especially enjoyed the cinema room and hot tub, so did the kids

Fabulous large house with thoughtful decor throughout. Comfortable beds with good quality bedding. Good location (20 min walk in to bowness, either by the main road or the foot path by the lake), some traffic noise early in the morning, easily remedied with ear plugs. Hot-tub was fabulous & cinema room was a great asset, especially on a rainy dayRead more. You do need to log in to your own Netflix/Disney etc accounts. Disappointed that there was no BBQ, especially as I checked the day before (as I was ordering a BBQ pack from a local farm shop), I was informed that there was a gas BBQ & that if we ran out of gas we could call the help line for more! There is a concrete plinth to put disposable BBQs on, however they are not easy to find in Bowness as they are banned! This meant a trip to ASDA at Kendall. Beautifully presented house, spacious and comfortable (although close to busy road). Some of the lighting was challenging at times! The cinema room is fantastic. A lot of thought went into the quirky decor.

This house is unbelievably gorgeous! It's stylish and comfortable. The owners have really thought alot about customer experience and have provided lots of information on how to use their facilities. We had a great stay and would definitely come back!

We had a lovely long weekend in this superb house that had everything you could possibly need. Location was great, a nice peaceful area with easy access Bowness on Windermere where theres lots to do. Clean, warm, quiet and relaxing with just a 15 minute walk into town. The beds are so comfortable and the cinema room is amazing.

Maison on Windermere was the most wonderful place anyone could stay in that location. The house was immaculate on our arrival and it was everything we had hope for from the photos. Each room was decorated to a very high end and the facilities that the house has were brilliant. We loved the cinema room and because the weather was great we made fulRead morel use of the well appointed hot tub and gardens, even eating outside on one of the evenings. The kitchen has everything needed for a family and the comfortable living room was great for family gatherings. Each bedroom was decorated individually and all had en-suites two of which had massive jacuzzi baths in and the other had a beautiful free standing bath in. The location of the house was excellent just a short walk away from the nearest restaurant and bar and further short walk into the centre where you were spoilt for choice for places to eat or drink. We all had a fantastic weekend and we cant wait to go back. Hide

Amazing house, you couldnt have asked for a better location a short walk to bowness center along a loverly path away from the road. Across from the property is the marina with an amazing bar and restaurant. The house was clean and tidy, comfy furniture and beds, really nice decor throughout the property, the hot tub and home cinema made it nice to Read moreenjoy an evening in the house, ample parking for your vehicles. Highly recommend this property to anyone considering staying in the lakes , we stayed 4 adults, a 2 year old and a new baby and it was perfect for us. We will definitely be booking again. Hide
