From the lounge, rustle up some delicious dinners in the kitchen, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and serve around the dining table. On balmier days, use the wood-fired pizza oven to create an Italian feast followed by games of Table Tennis in the adjoining barn. Upstairs, three beautiful bedrooms offer solace after long days, and all have incredible views overlooking the surrounding Cumbrian countryside.

Enthusiastic walkers and nature enthusiasts will be in their element with a stay at this property. From your doorstep, stroll 2 miles and find yourself at Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve, a wetland paradise for twitching fanatics. Even more wildlife can be spotted at Arnside Knott (2 miles), which also boats uninterrupted views across the Kent Estuary and Morecambe Bay. Spend time meandering around the pretty streets of the former fishing port, Arnside (2 miles), and top up your fridge with some of Cumbria's traditional ingredients.
