Offering a glorious view of the Howgill Fells, this light-filled property makes a lovely getaway for families and friends seeking a relaxing break in a gorgeous part of Cumbria. Providing fantastic, bright and spacious accommodation for up to six guests, the cottage is ideally situated in the friendly town of Sedbergh which has a history dating back to medieval times. Perched along the north-western corner of the Yorkshire Dales, Sedbergh is a thriving book town with plenty of welcoming pubs, restaurants and cafes. The cottage is just 1.5 miles from Sedbergh Golf Club, and the area offers miles of beautiful walks and cycle trails, with popular local attractions including Killington Lake, Cautley Spout and Yordas Cave all within 12 miles.

Entering this delightful property, the light and welcoming lounge has beautiful beams and French doors leading to the garden. Tastefully furnished and decorated in soothing tones, the relaxing lounge has plenty of seating, built-in wall storage and a Smart TV, providing an ideal space to unwind at the end of a memorable day. The elegant kitchen has plenty of workspace and an array of useful equipment so you can cook up a storm. The ground floor also offers a large dining room with a chandelier and a stylish table providing ample space for you all to get together for a celebratory meal. A handy downstairs cloakroom also houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, with space for leaving muddy boots. From the lounge, an open-balustraded staircase leads up to the first-floor landing, a large space with original beams leading to the three cosy bedrooms, all of which have a TV and views towards the Howgills. There’s a choice between a super-king-size room, a king-size and a twin which can be made up as a super-king-size. This room also has the benefit of its own en-suite shower room. The cottage features a charming part-panelled bathroom with a double-ended roll-top bath and separate shower.

Going outside, the pretty garden is imaginatively landscaped with a patio and stepped levels leading up to another patio offering super views of the Howgills. The garden has plenty of shrubs, climbers and trees as well as some beautiful spaces to sit back and relax. For cooks, there’s a herb garden to add to your creations. The garden also has a sweet wooden outbuilding with a small kitchen, bathroom and lounge, providing a great space to relax in the afternoons.

This is a beautiful old cottage situated in a picturesque village in a lovely part of England .It is tastefully decorated throughout and the furniture is of a good standard. Ideal place to stay when visiting this area..

Nicely decorated and furnished property, with lovely garden, parking and driveway entrance a little tight for larger vehicles. Easy walking distance to local shops and eateries.
