Within easy reach of the North Pennines, Northumberland National Park and Hadrian’s Wall, this stunning cottage is a fabulous bolthole for walkers, hikers, nature lovers and history buffs exploring a magnificent part of northern England.

The cottage has a wonderful open-plan lounge/diner with comfortable seating, a wood burner, a handsome dining area, high beams and exposed stonework, providing a spacious and inviting living area for you all to snuggle up and relax. The ground floor also has a stylish kitchen and a refreshing shower room. There are two impressive wooden staircases, one at each side of the living space. The first leads up to a beamed bedroom with a twin bed which can be made up as a super-king-size on request. The other staircase heads up to a gallery with a sofa bed, then through to a delightful twin bedroom with feature stone walls and wooden beams. Outside, the delightful garden has a patio, a lawn and outdoor furniture, providing a relaxing space for dining alfresco and taking in beautiful views in peace. You will also have access to a private woodland nearby, with several walking trails to explore.

Hadrian’s Wall is just a mile’s walk from the cottage, with other local attractions including Birdoswald Roman Fort, RSPB Geltsdale, Solway Aviation Museum, and Talkin Tarn Country Park, all within 5 miles. The North Pennines (4 miles) and Northumberland National Park (10 miles) offer breathtaking walks and bike trails.
