Spoil yourselves with a sensational stay at this exquisite townhouse in vibrant Keswick. Sleeping 12 guests, the six-bedroom retreat offers sumptuous, stylish accommodation that is ideal for large groups of friends and family. With beautifully finished accommodation arranged across four floors, the impressive retreat includes a courtyard where you can bask in the sunshine after trips out into your picturesque Lakeland surroundings.

Climb the steps up to the front door and enter the hall. Make your way into the sun-soaked lounge/diner, where a bay window pulls the glorious scenery inside. Gather at one end to watch the Smart TV and play games or at the other end to dine in grandeur. Open the door to the courtyard on warm days. Discover the chic kitchen, with its breakfast bar, has everything you need to help you whip up delicious feasts. Make fresh coffee in the machine here too or pop open chilled bottles of fizz from the fridge. There is also a handy utility room and a WC downstairs. Climb the stairs to a family bathroom, with a gorgeous free-standing bath, and a super-king-size bedroom, a bunk bedroom and an additional lounge, with another Smart TV and spectacular views. The floor above encompasses a super-king-size bedroom and bunk bedroom, plus a king-size, with an en-suite shower room. Another beautiful family bathroom is also here. Head up another level to a king-size bedroom, with some restricted head-height due to its charming sloping ceiling, and an en-suite shower room. Dine out in the courtyard on fine days and enjoy cocktails here as the sun sets.

Stroll just over 0.5 miles to the shores of Derwentwater to hire canoes or take a launch out on the water. Follow the 10-mile footpath around the lake. Book seats for a show at the Theatre by the Lake (0.5 miles).

Arabella House in Keswick is one of the most beautiful and stylish properties we have stayed in. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfy with lovely bedding and throws. The bathrooms were amazing and the whole place was spotlessly clean and smelt gorgeous. The house is very comfortable and beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful extra touches. Location is excellent for the town, the hills and the Keswick Convention site which was our reason for staying. Its worth pointing out theres no garden, just a small courtyard which doesnt get sun.
