The cosy bungalow enjoys a peaceful setting, just 0.5 miles from Keswick’s town centre and 1 mile from the shores of Derwentwater. This property is the perfect base for exploring the North Lakes, including Bassenthwaite and Ullswater, as well as nearby fells such as Skiddaw and Blencathra (all within 16 miles). It’s a beautiful property with lovely features including a gas fire and a wood burner for creating a cosy evening atmosphere and glass doors making light and bright spaces throughout the day.

The single-storey retreat is set in a quiet cul-de-sac. Inside, discover a bright holiday home that’s decorated in a contemporary style, with homely touches and little pops of colour throughout. Enter the hallway, where you can store your walking boots, and head through to the spacious lounge. Relax here after a busy day, watching your favourite programmes on the Smart TV or reading a book from the extensive collection provided. The separate, country cottage-style kitchen/diner is a joy to cook in, with its vaulted ceiling and views of the garden. Come together here for romantic dinners next to the roaring wood burner. Just off the kitchen is a handy utility room. When day turns to night, retire to the relaxing double bedroom. A pretty bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, the mature garden is fully enclosed and features a sunny patio with furniture for al fresco dining, along with a lawn that’s ideal for four-pawed guests.

A 0.5-mile stroll through the park and along the river brings you to Keswick’s bustling town centre, with its exceptional collection of independent shops and eateries. The town also hosts regular markets showcasing local produce and handmade goods – it’s the ideal place for picking up a little souvenir from your holiday. Keswick is one of the Lake District’s outdoor adventure hubs, and you’ll find many companies offering everything from ghyll scrambling to paddleboarding.

The bungalow is well situated within a ten minute walk into Keswick town centre, where all the amenities can be found. The bungalow is down a well lit quiet residential close with off road parking. The amenities within the bungalow are well suited for a couple, the rooms are all well heated, certainly not cold.

Great location to Keswick, the bungalow was really comfortable and clean, and was left a bottle of prosecco and treats for our dog, very much appreciated. This is the second time we've stayed, and we will definitely stay there again. Lots of birds in the very bushy garden.

Lovely, cosy cottage and just a short level walk into the centre of Keswick. The air fryer was a nice touch. Had a lovely week there. Hope to go again.
