Windows and glass doors from here overlook the garden. There are two lovely bedrooms – a king-size and a double. The cottage also has a convenient home working space, just in case you need to deal with business while on holiday, and a family bathroom with striking green tiles. The local area is a true treasure trove for nature lovers, with scenic walking trails at Ponsonby Fell (3.5 miles) and Eskdale (5.5).
