Threlkeld village is just over a mile away with a couple of lovely country pubs, a cricket pavilion, and a golf course. You can walk into the market town of Keswick which is 4 miles away along the footpath which runs along the old railway line. There is a good selection of independent shops, restaurants and cafes. Annually, Keswick holds the Mountain Festival which is a three-day event with world-class sports, outdoor activities, talks and films with live music. Derwentwater is only 12 miles away and offers some great water sports activities or why not visit one of the local distilleries.

The property was renovated in 2023 to a very high standard. The ground floor boasts a contemporary kitchen with a breakfast bar that looks over the lounge, this is the perfect place to enjoy cosy evenings, after a long walk, enjoy a movie on the Smart TV or a glass of wine with a good book snuggled on the comfy sofa. The stairs to the first floor lead off the lounge, the spacious master suite has a beamed ceiling, with low windows, slate window sills, and views over the fells. There is an en-suite shower room.

Outside there is a patio area in front of the property with seating and views across the open countryside and fells.
