The cottage is situated along a tranquil single-lane road just on the outskirts of Torver village. Within half a mile you'll find a local deli and a welcoming pub with a spacious beer garden and play fort. A 3-mile drive leads to the charming village of Coniston, which offers a variety of amenities, including a selection of dining establishments and friendly pubs. Additionally, guests can explore various shops and a boating centre, where they can partake in a range of water sports such as canoeing, sailing, and stand-up paddleboarding. For walkers or climbers, the Old Man of Coniston and Dow Crag are in view and accessible from the house or for those who prefer a flatter walk, the old railway line path takes you from Torver all the way to Coniston. For those seeking a more leisurely experience on the lake, numerous boat excursions are available, including "The Gondola" an exquisitely restored Victorian steamer or Coniston Launch which actually stops at Torver Jetty.

Entering the property through the spacious porch, you have plenty of space to hang up your walking gear. The cosy kitchen awaits, amply equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm and enjoy breakfast together at the table. The lounge next door is spacious yet cosy, with a gas fire and Smart TV; you are welcome to kick back and relax with your favourite film. Through into the hallway, the first of the three bedrooms awaits, with a delightful king-size bed and far-reaching views of the Old Man of Coniston, Dow Crag and the southern fells beyond. The twin and double bedrooms are tucked away towards the rear of the property and offer plenty of space to get your head down after a day of exploring. The family wet room with WC is practical and inviting, designed with a walk-in shower.
The outside of the property is truly spectacular and offers multiple spaces to enjoy and relax. Take a stroll through the 'Secret Garden' with the little ones or enjoy dining alfresco together at the picnic table – all whilst soaking in the spectacular views.
