This gorgeous property, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of popular Grasmere, is perfect for you and your guests. Sleeping six across three spacious king-size bedrooms, this property is ideal for families and groups of friends who want a base to explore the beautiful Lake District. You are spoiled for choice when it comes to outside space. Why not take in the beautiful views from the balcony over breakfast or dine alfresco in the suntrap garden? Visit the renowned gingerbread shop less than 350 metres from your front door, or see William Wordsworth’s home just 500 metres away.

As you pull into the drive, you’re welcomed inside this beautifully decorated cottage. Earthy tones and farmhouse-style furnishings invite you to truly unwind in this home. The spacious kitchen is a sociable space where your fellow guests can chat around the island while you cook; dine at the table in front of the patio doors or head out to the suntrap garden to dine alfresco. Sumptuous seating in the lounge beckons you to sink into it in front of the wood burner in the evening as you watch TV. You’ll also find the first bedroom on the ground floor with its own TV and en-suite bathroom with a hand-held shower. Upstairs, the second bedroom has soft tones to lull you to sleep and an en-suite shower room, while the third bedroom acts as its own self-contained space with a kitchen, seating for two and a shower room, making it ideal if you’d like a bit of extra room to yourself.

When you’ve visited the shops, cafes and pubs in Grasmere, head to stunning Lake Windermere where you can enjoy views and walks from Wray Castle (7.5 miles), visit the Windermere Jetty Museum (9 miles), or take a lake cruise from Waterhead Pier (5 miles). Coniston Water (12 miles) and Ullswater (24 miles) are also must-visits. Try out the high ropes at Go Ape Grizedale (12 miles) for a bit of adventure.

Lovely cottage with a perfect location in Grasmere. The home had everything we needed as a family of 6 and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Brilliant location. The cottage has a good layout, nice to have a bathroom for each room. Plenty of space too. Great kitchen facilities in the main kitchen. Would definitely recommend.
