This farmhouse didnt have a big enough garden for our family trip and we wouldnt return for several reasons, it was overpriced for the facilities it has.

Lovely family holiday to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Perfect for what we needed, we loved the walk across fields to The castle Inn and down the Rake to the Sun Inn. Great for exploring Skiddaw and lovely beaches at Bassenthwaite for swimming. Really comfy beds.

Really clean, well equipped with excellent outdoor areas. Good location, it was every thing we hoped for, the child in our party was delighted with the bunk/games room, a wonderful facility for children.

Super house for our group of 12. The dining table and sofas are in the same room, so it didn't matter that there were limited armchairs, as the dining chairs were close by. We really enjoyed our weekend here. 7 adults, 4 children, & our dog. It was an ideal location and close enough to travel into Grasmere for the day.

Overall enjoyed our stay. There were a few niggles like no outside light arriving in pitch darkness was difficult to see keysafe code.
