Escape with your loved one to this romantic retreat set in the rolling hills above Bassenthwaite Lake in the beautiful Lake District National Park. This contemporary pod is compact but contains everything you need for a relaxing, self-catering stay, and boasts remarkable panoramic views.

Head inside this open-plan, contemporary pod where you will be immediately welcomed into the lounge area. Take a seat on the comfortable sofas and admire the views from the door or get cosy in the evening in front of the TV. A handy two-seater dining table is also provided for you to sit and enjoy hearty breakfasts or fulfilling dinners together. Beyond here is a galley-style kitchen which has a hob, microwave, fridge, and even a dishwasher. Alongside this, you will find a comfortable double bed and storage space for your walking clothes. Completing the accommodation is a stylish bathroom with a walk-in shower and a WC. Outside is a garden space that is shared with the two neighbouring holiday pods. It contains seating, a BBQ and a fire pit, so you can spend evenings stargazing while tucking into an al fresco meal.

Beneath this hillside location is the wonderful and vast Bassenthwaite Lake (2 miles). Head here for stunning lakeside strolls, cycling, kayaking and paddleboarding. If you fancy a challenge, climb one of the nearby mountains, Skiddaw (3.5 miles) or Blencathra (11 miles). Peruse a range of independent shops or enjoy a tasty bite to eat in the bustling town of Keswick, which is just 5 miles away.
