The coastal village of Arnside is a former fishing port which enjoys stunning views across the estuary where the River Kent meets Morecambe Bay. This elegant and stylish property at the end of the promenade is ideal for friends looking for a tranquil holiday and the perfect base to explore the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the southern end of the Lake District.

This gorgeous apartment is in a Grade II-listed Georgian country house, fully restored in 2021. This first-floor property, with beautiful views across the estuary, can be accessed by lift or via the original wrought iron staircase. The apartment has a superior feel, offering a chic and comfortable open-plan lounge, diner, and kitchen area. The decor reflects natural beauty, and the calming hues offset by bold colours in the furnishings bring vibrant energy. The kitchen has everything you need to make meal preparation a breeze, and the dining table is by one of the windows, offering sublime views of the estuary. The living room has plush seating, perfect for socialising and a Smart TV. There are two bedrooms: a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room and a bedroom with two single beds. A contemporary bathroom completes the features of this attractive apartment. Outside, enjoy over 2 acres of shared, manicured grounds with external picnic tables and benches scattered around the gardens for your use. The grounds have direct access to both the promenade and the beach.

Spend the day at Holker Hall and Gardens (18 miles) and stop off at Grange-over-Sands on the way or the way back. Walkers can head to Windermere and Troutbeck (20 miles), the starting point for many trails or hikes for all abilities. For something a little more relaxing, head to the market town of Kendal (12 miles) and discover more about the heritage and culture of the area in the galleries and museum.

A fabulous apartment well stocked and spotlessly clean. The views are stunning and Arnside has got some great new additions ie The Sandpiper and JJ Crossfields.

The most wonderfully appointed apartment in the most beautiful setting! The attention to detail is second to none. Lots of space for 2 adults and 1 child, we enjoyed eating breakfast with that view and equally using the tables outside for a drink and card games. Arnside is a well appointed town with lots of places to eat, drink and shop. We would hRead moreighly recommend as a good base in the lower lakes to explore further. Hide

A wonderful apartment with commanding views of the Kent estuary with all its wildlife and the viaduct. Excellent location for the lakes and Arnside Knott. Cannot recommend it highly enough. This trip was our second and wont be our last!

This is a superb flat in a lovely location. There are great local walls for dogs and you can easily reach all of the Lake District. It was very clean and it suited the needs of three adults with two small dogs.
