Airedale cottage is excellent On arrival it was very clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. The sitting room has three comfortable sofas and the enclosed garden was excellent for our small dog.

Nice quiet location, ideal garden for the dog. 15 minute walk to town centre, uphill. Walking was a tad scary with the traffic coming down the hill at speed & bends to negotiate. Windermere is nice but we found bowness to be more up our street. We did enjoy our stay but If we returned we would stay in bowness.
