The market town of Sedbergh offers wonderful walks through the dale, along the river or onto Howgill Fells. This cosy cottage is perfect for friends with four-legged friends looking for an active holiday. The natural and cultural attractions of the Yorkshire Dales to the east, and the Lake District National Park to the west, are within easy driving distance. This charming cottage is located within one of Sedbergh's old commercial yards, just off the high street, in a courtyard of three similar properties.
Inside, the cottage has a welcoming feel throughout, with a wood burner in the snug area, soft tones and contemporary furnishings. Reached via a few steps from the parking area, you step into the delightful snug next to a lounge with two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV – so there is plenty of space for everyone to relax and socialise. The dining area is set neatly in one corner of the lounge, which is perfectly positioned for accessing the stylish, equipped kitchen with a wooden floor. A cottage-style staircase leads to the first floor, where you'll find a super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a second super-king-size bedroom, and a bathroom along the hall. Outside, is a lovely patio area with garden furniture where you can enjoy your morning coffee while you plan your day or sip a cool drink on your return.
Hawes, 9 miles to the east, is superb for a day out looking around shops, trying local, traditional pubs and walking. Bowness-on-Windermere (20 miles) to the west in the Lake District and Cautley Spout (4.5 miles) are two other scenic days out.
