Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery is 7 miles away and anyone interested in planes will love the Solway Aviation Museum, 17 miles’ drive from the house at Carlisle Airport – it was RAF Crosby-on-Eden’s airfield during WWII. Solway Coast AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) is a 13-mile drive, and the famous Scottish village of Gretna Green is 17 miles away. You’ll be spoilt for choice for walks during your stay with pretty routes from the door and the stunning Lake District Park National Park just 6 miles away.
