Had a wonderful stay. We had a cosy stay would highly recommend booking this cosy cottage. The hot tub was a super addition to the stay and what a way to relax after a hike. The bed is super comfy and considering how old the property is, the place was warm the whole time. It was the perfect stay for our birthdays.

A great base for the Lakes, no question. But I wouldn't have booked if I'd known it was on the A6. And I also feel that the photos are a bit deceptive in terms of the amount of space overall. Other guests have been very pleased so I'm sorry to be less so but this didn't quite live up to expectations.

A lovely, well decorated property. A good base to see the local attractions. It's probably not suitable for very young children, those who are infirm or light sleepers. The cottage, as the name suggests, is quirky and the stairs might be tricky for some. The main road is noisy and and creates privacy issues.
