Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the Lake District. So nice to leave the car at home some days for great local hikes. Highly recommended.

Great location. Generally well set up. As per other comments over time the dryer (still) doesnt work - the Lakes are often wet and we would have appreciated it for this and a clothes wash. Otherwise it was a good experience - we visited in early autumn so didnt need heating. The shower was perfectly good, the bed comfortable enough etc.

A cosy cottage in a nice location. The kitchen equipment is superb, nothing is missing, and pans and pots are in a very good condition. The dryer of the washing machine was not working. The fridge has no freezing capacity which was not a problem for us, and was otherwise in a perfect condition.

Lovely cottage in a quiet and scenic location that is the Newlands Valley. Bedroom is beautiful. Few issues need to be rectified. Dryer on washing machine not working. No freezer facility and no ice box. Just a basic fridge.

The heating was out dated and noisy (not a problem in warm weather) and the lounge seating was uncomfortable. The cottage was very clean and the equipment worked well. IIt was wonderfully situated for Keswick and the surrounding area and very quiet. We had a great holiday.

This is a lovely cottage in a lovely location. Its very peaceful and the views from both sides are fabulous. The cottage is well equipped although there are a couple of niggly things. The main one being the very inefficient fridge. Nothing that would ruin your stay though. If you like watching the birds youll be in seventh heaven.

Comfortable and quaint cottage in a lovely setting and only 12 minutes from Keswick centre. Clean and welcoming. However, beware that freezer box is taped up and the dryer is not working. Overall however, good value. We can recommend a visit to Lingholme which is down the road. They provide lovely food and the gardens are well worth a look.
