Lindale is a peaceful village, close to quant seaside town of Grange-over-Sands, making it an ideal starting point to explore both the South Lakes and south Cumbrian coast. Lindale itself has a very handy village store and a couple of pubs, as well as local footpaths that meander through the surrounding countryside. Walk along the promenade at nearby Grange-over-Sands or why not visit the charming village of Cartmel, just a 10-minute drive away and enjoy some fine dining at the Michelin Starred L'Enclume restaurant. Another treat for foodies is the village's famous sticky toffee pudding, be sure to stock up whilst you're there!
Sitting close to the north side of Morecambe Bay, spend a day exploring the beautiful coastline here. Sign up for a guided walk across the famous sands (don't venture out by yourselves) or hire bikes and cycle along the picturesque promenade. Head over to Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you can visit the nature reserves at Warton Crag and Gait Barrows, whilst for keen ornithologists the RSPB nature reserve at Leighton Moss is a must. Windermere and its neighbour Bowness are less than 30 minutes away by car and are a wonderful destination for a longer day out. Indulge in some retail therapy, treat yourselves to lunch at one of the independent cafes or take to the water and enjoy a cruise around beautiful Lake Windermere.

Sleek and stylish, the beautiful open-plan kitchen-diner is a fantastic social space. From the hand made feature wooden light fitting above the table, to the beautiful copper taps and copper inlaid wooden worktops, this room is full of quirky features. Well equipped with an electric oven and hob, Smeg fridge, microwave, 4-slice toaster and dishwasher, the kitchen is sure to be a hit with the cooks in the group. The wooden dining table is perfectly postioned between the dual aspect windows, making it a wonderful spot for socialable mealtimes or for spreading out maps and guidebooks and planning your day's adventures.
Off the central hallway is the living room. The two two-seater leather sofas are positioned around the wood burner, perfect for cosy evenings in. There's also a TV for enterntainment.
The apartment has two lovely bedrooms. First up is the master bedroom which has a king-size bed with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. There's also a handy storage unit and hanging space, as well as a beautiful armchair in the corner, ideal for relaxing with a good book. The second bedroom is just as stylish as the first. This room has a twin beds but can also be made up as a king upon request.
The fantastic shower room has a WC, washbasin and large shower cubicle with modern waterfall-effect shower head, perfect for refreshing tired muscles after a day out exploring.
Outside, to the rear of the cottage, is a delightful gravelled patio area. With garden furnture, it's a lovely spot for making the most of the sunshine, equally suited to a morning cuppa or an evening aperitif.
There is parking at the cottage for one car and there's also a garage for storing bikes, ideal if you like to get out and about on 2 wheels.
