Off the central hallway you’ll find the modern kitchen/diner, comfortable living room (there is a sofa bed in here which can be made up to accommodate a fifth person at an additional charge) and the two lovely en-suite bedrooms. As well a private courtyard, there is plenty of parking available in the car park of the adjoining inn.
Tucked away from the hustle bustle but still be within easy access of both the Solway Coast and Lake District National Park, there’s plenty on offer close to Great Clifton. The apartment adjoins the popular Old Ginn House restaurant, perfect for treating yourselves to a tasty meal out. There are local footpaths and quieter country roads to explore, as well as nearby cycle paths if you prefer to get out and about on two wheels.
The beautiful Solway Coast is just a short drive away. Enjoy a walk along the pebble and sandy beach at the quant seaside village of Allonby , or explore the cobbled streets at popular Silloth. Visit the Maritime Museum and the Senhouse Roman Museum at Maryport, a must for anyone with an interest in history. Why not head east to the Lake District? Spend a day exploring around beautiful Buttermere and Crummock Water. The Lake District Wildlife Park is sure to be a hit with families whilst Whinlatter Forest has a choice of walking and mountain bikes trails, as well as a Go Ape High Ropes Course for adrenaline junkies.

The modern kitchen/diner is sleek and stylish. Well equipped with an electric oven and hob, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and useful washing machine, it's a great social space. The dining table has two chairs as well as a bench, providing plenty of seating for four or five people to gather round the table. The kitchen leads through to the fantastic living room, where you'll find an inviting large corner sofa and a separate two-seater sofa. There's an electric flame-effect fire and a wall-mounted TV in here too, perfect for relaxing evenings in. The two-seater sofa is a sofa bed and so can also be made up to accommodate a fifth person on request (please note, there is an additional charge to accommodate a fifth person).
Onwards to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The double room has a lovely relaxing feel to it, perfect for indulging in a long lie in - you are on holiday after all! This lovely room also has a stylish dressing table with mirror and a handy hanging rail with drawers for storage. The modern en-suite has a WC, wash basin and shower cubicle, ideal for reinvigorating tired muscles after a day on the fells. Next up is the twin room, which can also be made up as a double upon request. This is another bright and airy room, with a dressing table and handy storage unit. The twin room has an en-suite bathroom, with a WC, wash basin and bath with shower over, so all tastes are catered for, whether you prefer a refreshing shower or a long soak in the tub.
As well as parking in the adjoining inn's car park, the apartment also has a delightful little courtyard area. With a wooden table and chairs, it's a lovely spot to relax and unwind after a day out and about.
