Hire a canoe or rowing boat and take to the water - or hitch a ride on the launch and let someone else do the hard work as you cruise round the lake. After something a bit more adrenaline fuelled? Sign up for an activity with one of the local adventure companies; try ghyll scrambling, canyoning or the via ferrata.
