Neighbouring Bowness has a cinema, museums and even more shops and eateries. All this within a few minutes' of your front door.
If you did fancy venturing further afield, there's plenty to see and do. Families will love a day at Brockhole, from the tree top trek to archery and mini golf there's something for everyone here. Why not head north to Keswick, a scenic 25-mile drive away? Walkers will love it here. There's a great selection of outdoor shops for stocking up on gear and a wealth of popular Wainwrights achievable from the town centre. Head inside and downstairs you'll find a super modern kitchen. Well equipped with everything you'd expect for a self catering stay: there's a double oven and electric hob, microwave, fridge, small freezer, dishwasher and useful washer/dryer.There's even a Krups Nespresso coffee machine (please rememer to bring your own pods) for that morning brew. The open-plan living/dining room is a wonderful social space. Gather round the dining table and catch up on the day's adventures over a leisurely meal. Retire to the living area and unwind in front of the cosy wood burner. Curl up with a good book or simply watch the world go by from the room's feature bay window.
