Take a ride on the launch and enjoy a cruise around Derwentwater or set off on foot along the lake shore path. From Keswick avid fell walkers can tackle Latrigg, Catbells and Walla Crag to name but a few of Alfred Wainwright's favourites. Why not head west from Cockermouth to explore the picturesque Solway Coast? Stroll along the promenade at Silloth or visit Whitehaven harbour to learn about the area's maritime history.
