This fantastic terraced, town centre cottage sleeps four. Incredibly handy for all of Keswick's amenities yet boasting a garden and off-street parking space, this modern home makes the perfect base for a family or two couples to enjoy this much-loved Lakeland town. The owners have used fresh decor, plush carpets, statement wall art and local photography to make a welcoming and well appointed holiday home.
Guests arrive to the rear of the property and enter into the bright modern open-plan living space and kitchen. The contemporary kitchen is well equipped with built-in fan oven, four ceramic hobs, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There's a dining table for four, plenty of crockery and cookware for your stay and a handy utility cupboard with space for your coats and boots. Moving through to the delightful living area you'll find two comfy grey sofas arranged around a wall-mounted Smart TV and electric effect stove.
Moving upstairs (note the original building plans for the house from 1909 along the way) you'll come to the spacious master bedroom. It's light and fresh with an upholstered king-size bed along with an alcove with hanging space, shelves and drawers for storage as well as a dressing table with a glorious view over the town's rooftops to the fell tops beyond. The lovely twin room has a dresser with shelves and hanging space, a mini dressing table, a wall-mounted TV and a view to the sloping back garden. The contemporary family shower room is an absolute stunner. Making the most of the space with a modern suite and huge shower enclosure housing a mixer shower with drencher head; the room also boasts slate effect wall covering with a bold colour panel, all adding up to the feeling of a luxurious haven. (The owners have also provided a baby bath should you require).
Lastly to the outside space. To the front there is a narrow terrace with some mature shrubs providing colour. To the rear there is a sloping lawn and steps to a gravelled terrace with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. The cottages along this terrace have shared access so the garden is not enclosed. Above the garden is the parking area with a designated space for the cottage right outside. Further parking can be found on-street nearby or in the car park opposite the cottage.
