This comfortable, three-storey terraced house is perfect for a family or large group of friends; a homey base for spending quality time together. The house is bright and welcoming and is beautifully furnished from top to bottom. Everything is conveniently laid out to make your stay as relaxed as possible, from the fully equipped kitchen to the spacious open-plan living and dining area - great for gathering together at the end of each day’s adventure.

The house is in a great location, less than a 10-minute walk from the town centre but nestled in a quiet residential street with ample on-street parking. There are two supermarkets in Keswick and lots of shops selling local produce, so there are plenty of options for dining in. When you want to eat out, you can simply stroll into town and you will find everything from hipster cafes, to local pubs, wine bars and fine dining. In addition to that, there are plenty of water sports, shops, walks, and indoor activities to explore. This property's convenience for everything means you may not even need the car during the whole of your stay!

Whether you've come to relax or have an adventure, this is a relaxing base in the heart of it all.

This spacious and comfortable terrace house has been beautifully refurbished and sits in the middle of a row of three-storey slate houses. You enter into a stylish and welcoming living area, complete with a handy coat rail and shoe rack conveniently located to your left. The living room seating consists of a triple sofa, a double sofa (with back), and an armchair. There is a Freeview/Smart TV with DVD player, box of DVDs and large coffee table. There is also a cupboard containing a range of children's board games, as well as a collection of cookery books, so there is plenty to keep everyone entertained! The wood burner and large dining table make this the sociable hub of the house.

An open doorway leads through into a spacious kitchen, containing everything required to cater for a large group: oven (with electric hob, grill, two full-sized oven spaces and a warming oven), integrated fridge and freezer (with ice tray), toaster, kettle, radio, microwave, washer dryer, sink space and dishwasher, plus a full range of utensils. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered in this chic, modern kitchen — even a Sage coffee machine that takes Nespresso pods.

A carpeted stairway leads up to the upper rooms, which have all been beautifully decorated to coordinate with the soft natural hues of blue, yellow and grey on the ground floor. A full-length mirror is hung at the top of the stairs. There is a shower room containing a toilet, small sink with lit mirror and a heated towel rail (the shower has a luxury waterfall shower head, as well as a standard one). The second bathroom has a bath (with shower over), sink with lit mirror, heated towel rail and toilet. The first bedroom you come to is a twin room, with a wall lamp above each bed and a rail with clothes hangers at the foot of each bed, a set of shelves and a mirror. A window looks out onto the yard and lets plenty of light in. The second bedroom is the master bedroom, stylish and spacious with a king-size bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, a wardrobe, colourful bench and set of shelves. A large window looks down onto the street.

On the top floor, there is a spacious king-size room with a sloping ceiling and a gable window, giving it the feel of a cosy hide-away space. There are two bedside tables with a lamp, vanity table with mirror and stool, coat hooks and a Smart TV, with Freeview.

At the back of the house is a yard, which you can access via the kitchen or through a wooden gate round the back. Along one side is a slate shingled plant bed and there are two benches, where you can enjoy your morning coffee. This is a good space if you need to store bikes, kayaks and general outdoor equipment but you will need to bring locks, as there is just a simple sliding latch on the wooden gate.

We've just had a fabulous week's holiday in 41 Wordsworth Street. The cottage has everything you will need for your holiday, and the centre of Keswick is within a few minutes walk. We always found a parking spot on the street on the few days we ventured further afield for walks. The cottage gets a thumbs up from our party of 6 adults

Fabulous house with four comfortable bedrooms accommodating 8 people in total. Two bathrooms -one is a shower room. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need. Lounge / dining area was comfortable but 8 people might have found it a little cramped - we were four men. Heating and hot water available on demand. Centrally located in KeswicRead morek - about 5 minutes walk from the main square, restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend. Hide

We had an excellent stay here and had all the facilities we needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We discovered a problem with security as the key holder would open to any code but a new box was installed and the problem was quickly resolved.
