Set in a Victorian terraced townhouse, this impressive holiday home is a wonderfully spacious apartment laid out over three upper floors in the heart of Keswick. Sleeping up to eight people in four design-conscious bedrooms and boasting very easy access to the centre of town it makes a perfect base for a family or group of friends to make the most of this much-loved Lakeland hub. The owners have lovingly restored this large apartment using a practised eye for colour and modern decor, mid 20th century design classics and personal touches to create a welcoming, comfortable and quirky space. Added to this, the upper floors have some stunning fell-top views which are sure to inspire you to get out and about.

Situated a stone's throw from the centre of Keswick, the property is ideal whether you feel like spending time in the bustling town centre or whether you'd like to get outdoors and make the most of the unparalleled natural surroundings. The town is well known for being the Lake District's adventure capital boasting a vast array of adrenaline fuelled activities in the great outdoors for visitors to sample. If you're hoping to don your walking boots then you could scarcely be better placed as there are numerous walks from the door including Latrigg, Walla Crag or the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle and should you be ready for a bigger adventure Skiddaw, one of England's mountain giants, stands guard over the town. There's an amazing range of family activities available right on the doorstep too.

If a rather more gentle visit is to your taste then the town has plenty to offer with excellent eateries, characterful pubs, award winning museums, not to mention a regular market and a great range of independent and outdoor shops. It boasts its own art deco cinema and the stunningly situated Theatre by the Lake which shows a varied programme of drama, comedy, music and events throughout the year. Alternatively hop on board one of the Keswick launches to lap up the glorious scenery from the water. All of this within easy strolling distance of the property. So, whether you'd like to fill your Lake District jaunt with adventure or relaxation then this stylish apartment is the perfect place to make your base.

Guests enter the property via the shared front door and entrance hall from which you access the inner door to the property. There is coat hanging space immediately inside just before the staircase which takes you to the first landing. Here you will find the bathrooms and utility space. The modern family bathroom has a 'p' bath with over-bath electric shower and a white suite. The gorgeous shower room next door has a stylish mixer shower with drencher head in a large curved enclosure, perfect for soaking away tired muscles after long fell walks. The light filled utility room is at the back at the house where there is a washer/dryer and sink as well as plenty of space to store your muddy walking boots.

Moving along to the other first floor landing you first reach the spacious kitchen, this has been thoughtfully equipped for the foodies among you with a fitted double oven, five gas hobs, microwave, dishwasher, freezer,  two under-counter fridges, coffee percolator and all the crockery and cookware you'll need for your stay. There's also a small breakfast table making for sociable food prep and a large map to help plan your mountain adventures.

The delightful light living/dining room occupies the front of the house, it's a gorgeous space to relax with huge sash windows, a fresh colour scheme, stunning wall art and thoughtful design touches everywhere. There's a huge comfy corner sofa and two armchairs arranged around an electric fire along with a large TV with Freesat box and DVD player for entertainment. There is also a Roku stick for streaming online TV content. The dining table comfortably seats eight for long post-dinner conversations.

Onwards to the second floor bedrooms. As with the rest of the house the owners have used vibrant colour touches and 20th century design classics alongside modern pieces to give a luxurious and quirky feel to the bedrooms. The spacious king-size room has a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage and a modern metal bedstead. The double room also has a metal bedstead and a built in cupboard with plenty of hanging and storage space while the twin room has a wardrobe and dresser and a great view over Keswick's rooftops to the fell tops beyond.

Lastly to the beautiful master suite on the third floor. This room is an absolute gem built in to the attic space of the house with a king-size bed, a coffee table and chairs, along with a hanging frame and large chest of drawers for storage. It has dual aspect windows with gorgeous views taking in a huge range of fell tops including Latrigg, Skiddaw and Blencathra to one side and Catbells, Maiden Moor and Grisedale Pike to the other. Why not make your morning cuppa and retire to the loft to make your decision on which fell you'll conquer?

Great location. Street parking might be challenging in peak. Bright and welcoming in the day. Cosy at night. Well appointed with everything you need. Bath and 1 bedrom a bit small. Boot/wet room a bonus. Lots of stairs a slight negative and a long way from bedrooms to loos at night. Overall - A+

The place was beautiful, well furnished and in a perfect location. Parking in the area xan be a little tricky so allow yourself plenty of time to do a few loops. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sulas Loft is just about perfect in every way. The location is superb! If stairs are a problem then it may not be for you, but it's a fantastic property and I would certainly return.

We had a great holiday at Sulas Loft - very comfortable accommodation & close to lots of fun activities, shops, restaurants etc in Keswick. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Very well equipped cottage accommodation in the middle of Keswick easy access to the town centre and to Derwentwater. Ideal for a family of five or six with grown up kids Great washing and drying facilities So important in this part of the country Well equipped Kitchen and excellent amounts of hot water. The apartment was perfect for us, very spacious and was really well equipped. The kitchen is spacious and plenty of storage space and fridge space. We did a lot of cooking and found everything we needed. The bedrooms are a great size and the beds were all really comfortable. The living area is really sociable and just very thought through for groupRead mores. I know Keswick well and love this location for the park and town. I am going to book our next break here asap! Great location. Very clean and well equipped home. Parking was not a problem during our stay(February half term) Plenty of space and comfortable for 8 adults to stay. We stayed for a weekend, but would be great for a longer stay too.
