A nice little bolt hole in whinlatter forest , remote & cosy, and many forest walks and trails right from the door. We found it perfect for a quiet & chilled out week away from busy lives even with the arrival of Storm Bert. Many and varied dog walks with no sheep present! We will return.

Lovely cottage. Super quiet which we liked. Fully equipped kitchen. Philip - the owner - was super helpful when we were struggling with the heating. Having the washer/dryer in the barn was a bonus and we did use it once. Be aware there is no shaver point so couldnt charge my toothbrush but other than that the cottage was perfect for us and our dog.Read more Hide
