Dating back to the 1800s, this delightful slate-fronted cottage has been beautifully and sensitively restored throughout using traditional materials and luxury fixtures and fittings. It oozes rustic charm, with slate flag floors, oak latch doors, sash windows and cast iron radiators. A real gem of a Lake District cottage! With a spacious open-plan living space, a gorgeous modern kitchen and two charming double bedrooms, both en-suite, the house is well suited to two couples. The comfy sofas with matching woollen throws and roaring wood burner will be just the tonic after a day out on the fells. The cottage has the added advantage of off-road parking for one car, which is a rarity in the centre of Grasmere.
Situated on a quiet lane right in the centre of the pretty village of Grasmere, it is superbly convenient to all local amenities. Grasmere is an idyllic Lake District village with a stunning mountain backdrop and lots to explore.
