Fantastic house in the perfect location for fell walking, lake swimming, cycling, etc. Great places to eat and drink, especially the Dog & Gun and The Bank Tavern. The Gables is very well equipped and comfortable - the owners have thought of everything.

This house is in the best location for Keswick town. It is warm and welcoming and very comfortable for larger groups with plenty of room and alternatives to the TV to keep you occupied whilst indoors. The bedroom on the ground floor was helpful for people with mobility issues.

We had a lovely holiday with a group of 3 families including a 4 year old. Lovely roomy and comfortable house central to Keswick but Fitz Park is over the road. Small back garden perfect for a sunny evening. Very well equipped kitchen and sunny big dining room. I didn't want to leave!
