This is a first-floor apartment in a quiet residential street in Keswick. Accessed via an external staircase, this spacious apartment has lovely views of Skiddaw and Latrigg. There are two comfortable bedrooms, a spacious lounge and well-equipped kitchen.

You can walk into town in around 10 minutes where you will find traditional pubs, stylish bars, a multitude of outdoor shops and a growing number of funky independent shops. The nearest pub is an inn, home to a preserved specimen of the elusive Cumbrian Bogart. Alternatively you can walk into town in the same amount of time for a choice of eating and drinking establishments.

Keswick offers a host of walking choices, whether you fancy a stroll around the lake or scaling the grand heights of Skiddaw, there is so much to choose from and the majority can be walked right from the front door.

And at the end of a day out and about, you can return to your comfortable apartment and enjoy the sunset over the rooftops from the balcony.

This spacious apartment is bigger than you would expect and offers a very comfortable base for up to four people. The accommodation has been rated four stars by Visit England thanks to its quality furnishings and warm comfortable interior.

The accommodation is accessed via an external staircase from the front of the main property. At the top of the stairs, there is an entrance hallway with hanging space for coats and a tumble dryer. A door opens to an inner hallway with rooms off it.

The kitchen is well equipped with a small dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with half-size freezer above, a microwave and a gas hob and electric oven. There is also a small table and chairs. A door from the kitchen leads out to a first-floor terrace. There is a table and chairs to enjoy the south-facing terrace which catches the afternoon sun. In the spacious sitting room you will find contemporary sofas, a flat-screen TV, DVD player and an electric fire inset in a feature fireplace. There is a dining table and chairs for four people and dual aspect windows that look across to Latrigg and Skiddaw.

There is a king-size and twin bedroom; both of which are well furnished with substantial wardrobe space. The twin bedroom has wooden framed beds which can pushed together if you wish but do not convert fully into a super-king-size bed. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like the beds put together.

Both bedrooms are usually made up with feather down duvets but synthetic duvets can be provided on request. The airy bathroom has a large bath and separate shower, a wash basin and WC.

There is no garden at the apartment, however there is a small terrace off the kitchen with table and chairs. Fitz Park is a 5-minute walk from the property. There is an open area under the external stairs with a secure bar that bikes and canoes can be chained to.

Lovely big flat in a nice quiet location of the town. Near to the park and the town centre. The outside steps were a bit of a struggle for me as I have knee problems so probably suitable for more able visitors.
