This is a cosy, well-maintained bungalow sleeping four people in a quiet residential part of Keswick. It is situated in a prime elevated position looking out over the pretty Lake District market town of Keswick with stunning views of Catbells, Grisedale Pike, Skiddaw and Causey Pike.
The property is in a superb location with many walks straight from the door. Walla Crag, Latrigg and Skiddaw are all easily accessed without needing a car to get there. Walks on Catbells and in Borrowdale are reached using the Keswick Launch, only a 20-minute walk from the cottage. The centre of town is a short walk away and is a bustling hub with a great selection of independent outdoor shops, cafes and pubs.
As well as hiking, climbing and water sports, for a more restful day you can potter around the shops or take a trip on the Keswick launch on Derwentwater. By night there is the cinema or the award-winning Theatre by the Lake with shows, concerts and plays all year round. Keswick offers a selection of vibrant bars and traditional pubs.
All accommodation is on one level. Steps with two hand rails lead down from the road level to the property. The lounge is well-furnished with a flame-effect electric fire, Smart TV with Freeview and signal booster, DVD player, Hi-Fi system which includes DAB digital radio, CD player, Bluetooth, USB and MP3 player. Seating is on comfortable leather sofas.

It is fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven and toaster, iron and ironing board. The kitchen dining table has seating for four.
The double bedroom has similar uninterrupted views to the kitchen although Cat Bells and High Spy can also be seen rising above Borrowdale. The twin bedroom at the front of the cottage overlooks a raised flower bed and a feature stone wall with rockery planting above.
In the bathroom there is a bath with a thermostatic mains shower over, wash basin, WC and bathroom cabinet.
Outside, a few steps down from the front door leads to the west-facing rear garden where there is a slate patio with garden furniture, from which you can enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding fells and wonderful sunsets. Opposite the cottage is a garage, it is a good size and can provide useful storage space for bikes, canoes or luggage.
