The lovely Hope Park is no more than 5 minutes away, with pretty flower beds and benches to admire the surroundings. Beyond the park is the Theatre by the Lake and then Derwentwater where you can catch the launch across the lake, alighting at any of the seven stops or enjoying the entire voyage.
A short golf course is available at Hope Park. A few miles down the road at Threlkeld is the scenic Keswick Golf Club offering views to the surrounding fells. Keswick is considered the adventure capital of the UK with all manner of instructors and guides available to take you rock climbing, out on the lake or to explore new and exciting walking routes over the fells.
