The Stables really is a fabulous place to stay: very clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. OK so the weather could have done with some minor improvements but thats Cumbrias responsibility not the cottage owners. All in all, 100% recommended.

Between my daughter and myself we have booked the same cottage 6 times and love it. It is always in pristine condition and has everything needed for a fantastic holiday, whether you want to chill out or explore. Next year has already been booked.

A wonderful cottage full of character. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you need during your stay. The garden is lovely but not 100% dog secure (just the gate) but we adapted and the dogs were safe. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and ....the village pub which does amazing food

This cottage was absolutely perfect for me, my partner and our two large dogs. Plenty of room for us with all the amenities we could possibly need. We even had a go at completing one of the puzzles provided in the evenings. There is a pub just down the road which serves great food and everywhere is so dog friendly.
