This beautiful stone-built Lakeland cottage is nestled in a private setting high above Glenridding village. Offering views of the lake and with tastefully decorated living areas, it has all the benefits of a secluded location whilst still being close to local amenities. There is direct fell access whether you are seeking a family friendly stroll to the beautiful Lanty’s Tarn or a big adventure onto St Sunday Crag and the Helvellyn Range.

Ideal for a family holiday, the cottage comfortably sleeps four people in a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is a pleasant private garden with seating and a BBQ (please bring your own fuel). Glenridding is just a short walk away; it is a small village with several good pubs and shops.

The Ullswater area offers some of the best walking in the Lake District. There is a wealth of walks available from the door to suit all abilities. The lake is a water lovers' dream with various water sports and boat hire available from the main landing points of Glenridding and Patterdale.

The ground floor offers a spacious sitting room with cosy wood burner, TV, DVD and CD player. The kitchen has a ceramic hob with an oven and grill, a microwave, dishwasher and a full-size fridge. A separate utility room houses a freezer, washing machine and dryer.

Upstairs has a double bedroom with views to Ullswater and a twin bedroom. The bathroom has a WC, shower over the bath and heated towel rail.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Nicely seperated from near by properties so we had good privacy while outside and using the BBQ. Small grass area was enough for the boys to play in, although there was a steep drop off to be aware of. Beds and sofas were very comfortable, just what was needed after a long day on the trails, and there wereRead more some nice pubs close at hand for our evenings, and local shops had everything we needed. A fabulous cottage in a great location - in a village but you dont feel as though you are. Well equipped, very clean, a nice view from the sitting room (quite unusual for the Lakes) and great walking from your doorstep. And very helpful hosts (told us about an upcoming road closure that might have affected us).

Love the location, thats why this was the second time we have stayed here. Beautiful traditional property with interesting position looking down across glenriding towards the lake.

We had a great holiday , the cottage location was an easy walk to the village . The heating worked well on the cold evenings but the log fire made it even better . Everything was spotless and the bath/bathroom/fluffy towels were great after a long days hiking . Would definitely come again .

Really fantastic location and cute cottage. Was ideal location for exploring the Lake District. Cottage was very clean, great location and ideal for a break in the Lakes. Had a minor issue when we stayed which was rapidly fixed with no inconvenience to us.
