Located in the stunning Grisedale valley at the gateway of the mighty Helvellyn range is this delightful cottage. Originally a small cattle barn, it is now a spacious holiday home for two with charming original features.
Situated beyond the farm road end, the cottage is adjacent to the footpath leading to Grisedale Tarn, Fairfield and St Sunday Crag making it perfect for a walking getaway. At over a mile from the nearest village you can immerse yourself in the peaceful seclusion and enjoy nothing but the sights and sounds of nature and the unpolluted night skies.
The barn is entered by the entrance hall with the bathroom opposite with a delightful feature stone wall typical of this area of the Lake District, WC, shower over the bath and an electric towel rail.
Three steps up lead into the living area. There is one large sitting room which includes a kitchen and dining area. There is a TV, DVD and CD player in the sitting room. However, there is no tv reception. The kitchen area has an electric cooker with four rings and two ovens, a microwave, under the counter fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and dual washer/dryer.
The spacious double bedroom is off the sitting room with woodland views.
Sit in the garden and light the BBQ whilst enjoying the views.
