The dining room is large and comfortably sits 12 people around its table. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a Range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and plenty of storage.

From the kitchen is the utility room with fridge/freezer, tumble dryer, microwave, a further undercounter fridge and a separate WC with wash handbasin.

It has a super-king which can be made into a twin upon request. There is also a bunk room with a set of adult bunk beds and chest of drawers. All the bedrooms on this floor have wash basins. Finally on this floor is a bathroom with wash basin, a large bath with shower over for soaking those aching muscles after a day on the fells. There is a separate WC next door.

Stairs lead to the second floor with three further bedrooms. The first is an en-suite double bedroom, Again with stunning views, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers. We had a perfect Christmas in the house. The well equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking Christmas dinner for 12 people. The dining room is also ideal for sitting all the family for meal times. The area around the house is lovely to explore and the views are majestic. The local shop and pub are a 2 minute walk away. The Royal Oak is a friendly, wRead moreelcoming, pub. Superb food and engaging staff. All rooms have lovely comfy beds to get the best sleep to prepare you for the coming day. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great for Keswick and Whinlatter walks. The house is well equipped and clean. We cooked for our big group a lot and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The living room is very comfy, and the games room upstairs was well used by the teenagers in our group (helpfully, we couldn't hear them from the fRead moreirst floor bedrooms). The views are lovely from the front of the house and the back garden too. We all said we would be happy to stay again. Hide

A lovely, clean spacious house in an excellent location. Close to Keswick (we walked in/back, so not too far). We were a party of 8 and there was plenty of room. Parking was difficult, at times, so 2 cars were parked close to the road. Owners live next door and were very helpful with providing info on local walks/restaurants/pubs and shops. They alRead moreso very kindly left us some wine, biscuits and Kendal Mint cake, which were gratefully received and devoured. Would thoroughly recomend this place. Hide
