Coachmans Country Cottage is a unique and characterful cottage with spectacular countryside views and a hot tub for enjoying nights under the stars.
Eclectic furnishings and quirky décor make for a box-ticking holiday home in Cumbria’s vibrant Eden Valley. Romance is assured when staying here, making use of the private hot tub with amazing views or curled up by the wood burner indoors. The property is perched on the edge of the North Pennines with the Lake District National Park also in close reach (12 miles), allowing two guests to get stuck into adventure throughout their stay. See the area in an original way with some extremely unique company – the owners run a llama-walking tour and have emus, alpacas, giant rabbits and, of course, llamas on the estate!
An impressive sense of spaciousness awaits in this property with absolutely more than enough room for two to feel comfortable. The lounge and sunroom are sat beside one another, with the sunroom presenting plenty of comfy seating spots for admiring the view and the lounge a cosy space to snuggle up with the wood burner at work. There’s also a Smart TV in here so you won’t miss your favourite shows. The country kitchen is next door, as is a delectable double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The bathroom features a slipper bath to sink into after long days of exploring. You will, of course, also find your hot tub out in the garden, an enclosed, grassy space with a furnished patio.
Make the most of the dark starry nights when staying here, plotting a walking route late at night to take in the splendour. For walks better suited to the daytime, nearby Cross Fell (10 miles) is worth exploring. It’s a plot point of the famed Pennine Way and makes a great starting point for those eager to embrace this far-stretching National Trail. There’s also plenty of scenery to be found around the nearby waterfalls, with Ashgill Force, Cauldron Snout and High Force all within 27 miles.
