Cottage was clean and comfortable. Very warm Disappointed when learned that the pool wasnt open as had originally chosen this site for that, but overall it didnt detract from the stunning scenery and walks.

Beautiful location. Very quiet and private. Bit like living in a tree house. Lodge was very comfortable with all amenities. So nice to have breakfast and view the trees and hear Bird songs. Would recommend to my friends and family.

The cottage is cosy, spacious and well equipped. It is situated in the beautiful Neaum Crag estate at Skelwith Bridge. Ambleside is approximately 3 miles away. For shops & restaurants. Wonderful views of hills and mountains from the balcony that runs along the front of the property. For even better views take the short walk to the top of the estateRead more to Loughrigg Tarn. A pleasant stay in a good location. The lodge is well located for walks from the door and easy access to the heart of the lakes. It is in a quiet location surrounded by other lodges. I would argue one of the more well positioned lodges on the park as it's not overlooked. It can be cold although there is an additional heater if required. The cabin is located on a site in a really steep area so unless you are fit and very active, it might be unwise to stay here.

Such a beautiful cabin, in a beautiful setting. We stayed in late November when the leaves on the trees were awash with all the colours of autumn. Shades of golden yellow & every hue between red and brown wherever you look. The cabin is comfortable, well equipped, modern & stylishly fitted out. All you need for a wonderful break is your food, drinkRead more & walking boots, but if walking isn't your thing, sit on your porch, drink wine & watch the squirrels and birds go about they're daily buisness. Great looking cabin, maybe a bit tight in some places and could do with a broader/better selection of glasses and cups. Location in The Lakes is excellent though for exploring near and far, with some nice walks right at your doorstep.
